Glenn V. Hemberger, D.D.S., M.S.
Heading the team is Dr. Glenn Hemberger, an American Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. Upon graduating from the University of Missouri - Kansas City with his Doctor of Dental Science degree, he continued his education in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Mercy Hospital.
Dr. Hemberger has served on the faculty and staff at Children’s Mercy Hospital and the UMKC School of Dentistry.
Dr. Hemberger was the recipient of the prestigious Kansas Dentists of the Year 2010 Award. He has served as Secretary, Vice-President and President of the Kansas Dental Association. He was honored to receive the Humanitarian Award from the Kansas Fifth District Dental Society. He was currently appointed by the Governor of Kansas to serve as a member of the Kansas Dental Board. Dr. Hemberger gives back to those in need by acting as the Pediatric Dental Coordinator for the Kansas Mission of Mercy since it’s inception in 2002. This mission project has delivered more than $10 million dollars of free dental treatment to the less fortunate in Kansas.
Dr. Hemberger enjoys golfing, wilderness canoe adventures and cycling. He actually bikes to work daily! He is married to Susan, a registered dental hygienist who serves in dental public health, and they have one son, Brett, who graduated from Marquette and is living and working for Siemens in Chicago.
Emily Drake, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Emily Drake is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has practiced in private practice for over three years. She earned her dental degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Dr. Drake developed expertise in pediatric dental treatment through a post-graduate pediatric residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Before the residency program, she worked as a general dentist at the Indian Hospital in Winnebago, Nebraska.
Annually attending continuing education courses enable Dr. Drake to offer her patients the best pediatric dental care. She regularly attends courses focusing on dental technology, materials, dental trauma and orthodontics.
Dr. Drake contributes to the community through providing dental care to children at Kansas Mission of Mercy and Operation Breakthrough. Dr Drake’s professional affiliations are the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association and the American Orthodontic Society.
Dr. Drake resides in Kansas City, Mo with her husband Robert. She enjoys reading, the performing arts, cycling and kayaking.
